The world of high fashion will be set to see a brand new collection from the world’s most visionary milliner & and Irish design legend – Philip Treacy, as he announces a unique collaboration with Voltaire Diamonds.
Having already designed hats for the people at the top of the fashion hierarchy: Sarah Jessica Parker, Victoria Beckham and Lady Gaga (not to mention over half of the guests at last year’s Royal wedding) the Irish-born hat designer is set to pull something different out of his hat. The designer will be designing an exclusive collection of individual diamond engagement rings, with matching wedding bands, which will then be created by the talented Voltaire Diamonds craftsmen.
Launching in early 2013, the collection will be arriving just in time for Valentine’s Day and each set of rings which can be bought separately, will have an individual identity reflecting the emotional commitment involved in engagement and marriage, according to the designer.
Following the announcement earlier this week, Philip Treacy said, We want the collection of wedding and engagement rings to represent beautiful, highly desirable, emotional symbols of love, which are also exclusive, treasured possessions.
According to the CEO of Voltaire Diamonds, Seamus Fahy, also speaking about the collaboration, The Voltaire Diamonds Philip Treacy Collection will meet a market demand for prestige and exclusivity in engagement and wedding rings, as well as presenting exceptional pieces of jewellery.
Bringing Philip Treacy’s design originality and remarkable vision to the creation of these rings will create an exceptionally special offering for brides-to-be, and provides a fresh and new creative option that will appeal to a discerning clientele.
Appointments to view the design drawings from the exciting collection can be made from September onwards, while pieces (for some very lucky girls) can be reserved in advance by those wishing to own one of the unique first edition rings.
The numbered limited edition collection will be available initially within Ireland and the UK only. For more details and to keep up to date with all the design updates and hopefully some images soon to come log on to www.voltairediamonds.ie.
